Run it in the app instead of on paper
Paper schedules break the moment someone is late or has to leave. Enter the players’ names in the app instead: it draws a schedule like this one, shows each round on the TV and on every player’s phone, adds up the points as the scores come in, and redraws only the rounds that haven’t started when the group changes.
Short on time?
Play to 16 or 21 points instead of 24, or stop after fewer rounds. With fewer rounds not everyone partners everyone, but everyone still plays the same number of matches when the group fills the courts.
Scoring and the winner
Each player is credited with their pair’s points. Win 15–9 and you and your partner get 15 points each, while your opponents get 9. After the last round the player with the most points wins; ties are broken by wins and then by point difference.
